diary 001: welcome to project nori
we did a thing.
For a long time, we’ve talked about wanting a place to keep our memories that wasn't just a camera roll on a phone or a fleeting social media story. We wanted something permanent. Something we owned. Something that could grow with us.
Welcome to Project Nori.
If you’re reading this, you’re likely family, a friend, or someone who just stumbled upon our corner of the internet. Consider this our digital living room. We built this site to be a curated archive of our lives and a place where we can document the big milestones, the great meals, the long road trips, and the quiet weekends in between.
The Mission
The goal is simple: capture the journey. Whether it’s Julian building this up, Steph mapping out our next travel itinerary, or just a really good brisket cook on a Sunday afternoon, we wanted a place to log the things that make us US.
We want to look back at this in five, ten, or twenty years and see exactly where we were, what we were into, and how far we’ve come.
meet the family
If you don’t know us (or just want the official introduction):
Julian: The archivist, the tech lead, and the one currently doing anything but work. I'm usually found on the computer gaming, watching an A24 film, or trying to master the art of Texas BBQ.
Stephanie: The creative director and the planner. She’s the reason we leave the house, whether that means booking a flight or finding a hidden gem in our city. Look out for her book recommendations, local coffee shop rankings, Hobonichi journaling, DIY gifts, and all things witchy.
Nori: The namesake. The boss. She ensures we get our daily steps in and that the house remains secure.
Gyoza: The wildcard. Nori’s partner in crime and the happiest member of the household, mostly here for the vibes and the dropped food.
Current State of Affairs: Jan 2026
To kick things off properly, here is a snapshot of life right now:
Watching: First movie of 2026 was Marty Supreme. What a banger to start the new year!
Playing: Arc Raiders. Waiting for MARATHON in March!
Planning: Our trip to Las Vegas this April.
Working On: Trying to stick to our 2026 goals of becoming healthier, wealthier, and happier.
Thanks for stopping by. We can’t wait to share this journey with you.
